Methodist Central College – Batticaloa

From humble beginning to making history…
We are genuinely honoured to have the privilege of gathering together as one family in the United Kingdom, the homeland of our founder Rev. William Ault, the very place where our history unfolded more than two hundred years ago. It gives us immeasurable pleasure to have celebrated our prestigious school’s Bicentenarycelebrations in a grand manner, with the release of a praiseworthy special edition Souvenir Magazine Batticaloa Methodist Central College is a historically remarkable school which was founded in 1814, and considered to be the oldest English School in Sri Lanka.
We, the Old Boys’ Association of the UK, take pride in carrying the beacon of fine virtues and values that our Alma Mater has instilled in the hearts of all Centralites. The Old Boys’ Association, UK, whole heartedly encourage and extends a warm welcome to all Centralites to join us to build on the dreams, that had once stirred the heart of a young man to embark on a perilous voyage across the oceans…battling the storms and overcoming the hardships… to achieve this profound dream…
